Report: Kobe Bryant to meet with Turkish team

Kobe BryantThe possibility of Kobe Bryant joining Deron Williams with Turkish team Besiktas is getting closer to happening as he plans to meet with team execs on Saturday, according to Slam.

“At the moment there’s a 50 percent chance that Kobe may come to Turkey. Everything will be clearer after the meeting on the 30th,” said Seref Yalcin, the head of basketball operations at Besiktas, Slam reports.

The 32-year-old Bryant just spent time in the Philippines, where he earned $400,000 for playing in two exhibition games. He is the owner of a career 25.3-points-per-game average as well as five NBA championship rings.
